Let me start off by saying, if you are in college you either smoke weed pretty consistently or you don't. 4/20 is a holiday where you skip out on school and get high. There is no need to do that in college. Half the students are probably high and sometimes even the teachers. This is not called a holiday, it is called real life. I'm just impressed that a bunch of high people were organized enough to create this holiday. That itself should break a few myths. But honestly, there is really no reason to celebrate 4/20 like it is the best thing ever. Maybe if they sold weed legally and they gave discounts, I would be down to celebrate. Last time I checked, drug dealers don't give discounts and if they do, it still ain't free 99. The real holiday should be a personal holiday. Examples of this are, getting really high before class, drinking before a group presentation, or just being fucked up for a sober occassion. While this is fun, I only advise doing this if you will probably do well in the class and if you are a decently smart person. A stupid person getting high is a dangerous combination. That's why for seniors you should drink in the library. Does this reasoning make any sense? Not really, but if you drunk in the library, about to graduate, and tired of doing work, then drinking in the library is for you!
